Information that opens doors, not closes options
Kithward exists to give Thai families and organisations a calm, well-ordered starting point — not to make decisions for them.
Back to HomeHow Kithward came to be
Kithward was founded in Bangkok in 2019 by a small group of people who kept noticing the same gap: families across Thailand were trying to plan their household futures — sorting documents, understanding stages, preparing for conversations with professionals — but had nowhere to start that was calm, practical, and in plain English.
The name Kithward reflects the intent: kin and household, moving forward together. From the beginning the goal was modest and clear — produce honest, well-written informational materials that families could pick up, read at their own pace, and use to feel more prepared before they speak with lawyers, government offices, or financial professionals.
Today Kithward offers three main resources, each scoped precisely so that families know exactly what they are getting: educational content, not advice; structure, not decisions; direction toward official sources, not substitution for them.
Our Mission
To make household planning information clear, accessible, and calm for every family in Thailand — regardless of where they are starting from.
Our Approach
Everything Kithward produces is informational only. We write plainly, signpost carefully, and always make clear when a family should seek professional or official guidance.
Our Values
Clarity, warmth, and respect for household autonomy. Families know their own situations; we just help them feel more prepared to navigate them.

How We Keep Quality High
Kithward maintains clear internal standards so that every resource that leaves our office is accurate, honest, and easy to use.
Source Verification
Every factual statement in our materials is checked against official Thai government or authoritative sources before publication, and reviewed at least annually for accuracy.
Plain Language Standard
All written resources go through a plain language review. If a sentence is unclear to a first-time reader, it is rewritten before the material goes to print or digital release.
Strictly Non-Advisory
Every resource includes a clear statement of scope. Nothing Kithward produces constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice. This boundary is reviewed in every editorial round.
Data Privacy
Client contact details are used only to fulfil orders and respond to enquiries. Kithward does not share personal data with third-party marketing organisations under any circumstances.
Regular Content Updates
Thai administrative processes and official requirements can change. Kithward schedules content reviews every six months and issues updated editions when material changes are identified.
Reader Feedback Loop
Families and HR teams who use our resources are invited to share feedback. Recurring questions and points of confusion are used to improve clarity in the next edition.
Family information resources in Bangkok and beyond
Kithward serves households across Bangkok and the broader Thai metropolitan area who are at different stages of thinking about how to organise their family life — from young couples beginning to think about the future, to established households wanting to bring order to years of accumulated paperwork.
The household planning process in Thailand involves navigating a mix of official registration bodies, family documentation requirements, and commonly misunderstood administrative stages. Rather than leaving families to search through scattered sources, Kithward brings the key orientating information into one clearly written, well-organised resource.
For Bangkok-based employers, the Kithward B2B toolkit offers HR teams a structured, non-advisory way to support staff who are thinking through household planning. Staff wellbeing programmes across sectors — from corporate to education and healthcare administration — have used Kithward materials as a starting point for workplace family support.
The Kithward office is located in Lak Si, Bangkok, within easy reach of central Bangkok by expressway and public transport. Enquiries can be directed to the team via phone or the online contact form; orders for physical booklets are shipped throughout Bangkok and to other Thai provinces.
